Front cover- some improvement here- the red is very bright in terms of shade and a little overpowering- especially on the double page- I would make the background white so the text is easier to read. The image on the top left has no cropping and is placed in a basic way on the page. The Lead story is a little ambiguous in terms of title. The boxes on the left don't work- streamline the text and straplines amd place on the background- look at how existing front covers do this.
Contents- The bottom image is good but needs a caption. I like the side B idea. top image shoes no manipulation- black and white but not cropped and hard to make out what it is clearly. maybe make the font for the contents details a bit bigger of easier to read.
DPS- Change red background to white. Why have you got JAMES O as a DPS when the front cover it is WILL H as the main story? Use columns that are equal width and aligned left rather than boxes- image not well-selected.
