A clearer colour scheme this time and the front image is more suitable although the top of the image is cut off/covered by the masthead. Make the lead story and name of artist more prominent; the text on the left hand side is hard to read and by having bullet points it makes it look more poster like. Overall it needs to made clearer that this is a music magazine as the image doesn't present this so you will have to think of other ways to show this- other images perhaos or a clear logo or slogan for the magazine.
Contents page- the size of the font must be relative to the importance of the story. The layout so far is very basic.
Double page- consider where the page will fold and staples are placed as it will be through the centre of your image. The picture of James O does not correlate with the image on the front cover and I still question the appropriateness of the image you have.
Reflect on my comments and set out a plan going forward that sees you meet the mark scheme. Don't forget to look at the sample level 4 magazines to guide you as well as the magazine booklet and the lessons we had on codes and conventions.
